The window of inocense
Throughout analysing the influence of television, I would like to show a sequence of the images with a double purpose. This aim has given me the idea to use a “black box’ which inside is full of messages, codes and reality.
This piece represents an object from the 60’s which inside has been codified with information and subliminal messages. Society as receptors of this information takes the information and sees how fiction and reality can be combined. For this reason, the plane is half inside the black box and half outside. All this to represent how fiction could be materialized as reality. This process has made me realize how the black box is a channel which crystallized fiction an reality. We do not know what is in the back of the TV we just know what is on the front; so is it possible that anything is hidden?
