less legible/more visible Synopsis

This project is an analysis of the printed media in Britain by way of editing and deconstructing particular texts. Whilst investigating this subject I encountered different deficiencies in the British press. These shortcomings prompted me to think what was missing and what I was being informed of. Knowing that the British are the most well read public and the most consumed by printed media my practice intends to sabotage these medias and the readers that believe what they read is true and that only what they read is what happened.

Through the deconstruction of the newspapers and the contradiction of what is visible and what is legible, this project aims to illustrate the deficiencies of the media, trough their editing, internal and international politics, sales and personal viewpoints.
